History
THE NEIGHBORHOOD CHURCH INTERNATIONAL
On March 7, 2014 Ken & Viktoria moved into a missions house in the suburbs of Philadelphia, PA.
In August 2015, God would make it clear to Ken & Viktoria that they were to plant a church and provide holistic ministry South Philadelphia in the Wilson Park community.
Wilson Park is a public housing development in South Philadelphia designated for families and older adults. The development consists of high-rise and low-rise buildings, with 727 apartments total that range in size from one to four bedrooms.
Upon feeling led to plant a church in South Philadelphia, we were told that it would be extremely difficult to gain access to the community, much less their facilities. On Tuesday, August 11th, we knocked on the residential director's door and received immediate favor. We were granted permission to come in and implement our God-given vision.
That Fall we began praying and serving in our community. It soon became clear that we were in the right place, however, we realized that we would need a place to gather for worship and fellowship. In June of 2016 we signed the lease to our current space and began renovations. On July 10th 2016 we held our very first worship service. God was moving and continues to move!
To date we continue to receive decisions for Christ.

LoveAlive GLOBAL
Sharing the Love of Christ... "From the Neighborhood to the Nations"
LoveAliveGLOBAL was born out of a simple yet life-changing calling—to make the love of Jesus Christ come alive in every community, every nation, and every generation.
Founded by Pastor Ken Richardson and Dr. Viktoria Taylor-Richardson, LoveAliveGLOBAL began as a ministry with a passion for evangelism, discipleship, church planting, and missions. What started as a burden to reach the lost has grown into an international ministry committed to advancing the Kingdom of God through both the proclamation of the Gospel and practical demonstrations of Christ's love.
For more than two decades, Pastor Ken and Dr. Viktoria have faithfully served in ministry together, answering God's call wherever He has led. Their journey has included pastoring churches, revitalizing congregations, planting new churches, training ministry leaders, and serving communities throughout the United States and around the world.
In March 2014, they relocated from North Carolina to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to plant The Neighborhood Church, which officially opened in July 2016. As God continued to expand the ministry's influence, the church grew into The Neighborhood Church International, extending its reach beyond the United States through church planting and leadership development in Kenya, East Africa.
Recognizing that the Great Commission extends far beyond the walls of the local church, LoveAliveGLOBAL was established to serve as the international missions and humanitarian outreach arm of the ministry. Today, the organization ministers throughout North America, Africa, Asia, and the Caribbean, carrying the Gospel into communities while meeting practical needs with the love and compassion of Christ.
Through LoveAliveGLOBAL, churches have been planted and strengthened throughout Kenya, leaders have been equipped for ministry, pastors have received biblical training, and communities have been served through evangelism, discipleship, and humanitarian outreach. The ministry has also expanded its mission efforts into Uganda, South Africa, Liberia, Israel, India, and Haiti, partnering with local leaders to share the hope of Jesus Christ and strengthen communities for future generations.
LoveAliveGLOBAL believes that ministry must minister to the whole person. As a result, the organization has developed initiatives that provide spiritual, educational, and humanitarian support through programs such as LoveAlive AFRICA, The Love Center for Children, Precious Jewels Mentoring Program, Gathering of Believers, and the LoveAlive Center for Community Development. These initiatives focus on church planting, orphan care, leadership development, mentoring women and girls, education, community transformation, and meeting critical needs through compassionate outreach.
Today, LoveAliveGLOBAL continues to expand its vision by partnering with churches, ministries, businesses, and individuals who share a passion for fulfilling the Great Commission. Current initiatives include developing community transformation projects, educational opportunities, healthcare initiatives, safe housing, agricultural development, and sustainable programs that empower families while sharing the life-changing message of Jesus Christ.
Although the ministry has grown internationally, its mission has never changed.
Every church planted...
Every leader equipped...
Every orphan cared for...
Every family strengthened...
Every community transformed...
...is done for one purpose—to glorify Jesus Christ and make His love known throughout the earth.
As LoveAliveGLOBAL looks toward the future, we remain committed to raising up the next generation of leaders, expanding missions into unreached communities, strengthening local churches, and demonstrating God's love through both word and action until every nation has the opportunity to hear the Gospel.
Our prayer remains the same today as it was in the beginning:
To see lives transformed by the love of Jesus Christ... from the Neighborhood to the Nations.
